The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon was the perfect foil for aging in rye barrels. The complex, ripe cherry and cassis complement the raspberry and vanilla notes imparted by the Jack Daniel’s Rye Barrels. Portions of the wine are aged in American oak barrels along side these rye barrels to add even more complexity. The result is a delicious wine showing aromas imparted by the whiskey in harmony with the American Oak.
